You can use a mix of animal and/or character puppets. There are 5 main characters. The congregation could be large or small.
| Puppet Child 1 | Means well but tends to be loud and bothersome. |
| Puppet Child 2 | Same behavior as Puppet Child 1 |
| Puppet Pastor | Needs to stand a little ways in front of or to the side of the rest of the congregation. |
| Puppet Lady | Should be near the children in the congregation. |
| Puppet Man | Needs to be where the children directly disturb him coming in and out. |
| Puppet Congregation | A mix of puppets in a row (or rows). |
This takes place in a church. Line up the puppet so that the children disturb many as they go out and in.
Tape or CD with songs. Think about recording the songs onto a tape in the order you are going to be using them. Leave a little space between them so the "sound man" will have time to stop and start the tape. Use only one verse of each song.

| Puppet Pastor | Let's bow our heads for prayer. |
| Action | Puppet congregation bows heads. |
| Puppet Pastor | Our Father, Who art in heaven. Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven (continues quietly as the puppets begin to misbehave). |
| Puppet Child 1 | (Pokes puppet 2) Do you want a mint? |
| Puppet Child 2 | Yes! Thank you. (Unwraps it an smacks loudly) Man this is great. |
| Puppet Child 1 | I really like church, don't you? |
| Puppet Child 2 | Yes but I was getting hungry. Thanks for the candy. |
| Puppet Child 1 | You are welcome. I have ... |
| Puppet Lady | Shhh! People are trying to listen to God. |
| Puppet Child 1 | Opps, sorry. |
| Puppet Child 2 | Sorry, I forgot. |
| Puppet Pastor | Let's all stand and sing together. |
| Pastor and Congregation | Begins to sing Song #2. |
| Puppet Child 2 | I don't know about you but I've got to go to the bathroom. |
| Puppet Child 1 | I need a drink of water. Let's go. |
| Action | As the puppet children leave they bump into the singers, appologize, etc. Singers move to get out of their way, struggle to see around them, etc. |
| Puppet Pastor | Great singing. Now please open your Bibles to John 3:16. |
| Action | Puppets find page in their Bibles. |
| Pastor and Congregation | For God so loved ... |
| Action | Puppet child 1 and 2 come back in disturbing everyone as they get to their places. They are polite saying, "Excuse me", etc. outloud as they go. Congregation finishes reading verse. |
| Puppet Pastor | Let's sing a song about God's love for us. |
| Pastor and Congregation | Begin singing Song #3. |
| Puppet child 2 | Well, now I've got to go to the bathroom. How about you? |
| Puppet child 1 | Not me. But I'll go along to keep you company. |
| Action | As congregation sings, children push past them saying, "Excuse me", etc. |
| Puppet Pastor | So you see, God loves us very, very much. Let's all bow our heads and think about God's love. |
| Action | Congregation bows heads |
| Puppet Pastor | If there is anyone here who does not know Jesus as your Savior, please raise your hand so I can pray for you. |
| Action | Puppet Man raises his hand. |
| Puppet Pastor | Now we are going to sing a song. While we are singing, if you would like to ask Jesus into your heart, please come here and I will pray with you. |
| Pastor and Congregation | Begin singing Song #4 softly. Puppets stay still except for moving out of the way as the children come back in. |
| Action | Puppet Man begins to move but stops when children come back through to their seats. |
| Puppet Child 1 | I sure hope somebody learns to love God tonight. |
| Puppet child 2 | Me too! I want everybody to know God. |
| Action | Congregation finishes song and everyone walks out. |
