I Don't Believe In Parties

        Religion Is No Joking Matter:
        Fun Things Are Mostly Sinful, Aren't They??

        Many religions feature long lists of rules

        But Jesus said that all the rules God gives to man are in this:
        • 1. Love the Lord Your God with all your heart, soul and mind
        • 2. Love your neighbor (every other person) as much as you love yourself.

        Jesus taught about God's joy When Jesus wanted to tell us how happy God is when one of His children seeks Him, He told of a party with music and dancing and feasting. See Luke 15:11-32.

        Religion does not approve of joy David, the "man after God's own heart" angered his religious wife with his dancing. Click here for the story.

        God is not the author of joyless religion In fact, God commanded us to party: (Phillipians 4:4 - Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, Rejoice.)

        Still not ready to party? Zephaniah 3:17 tells us that God rejoices over us with joy; that we can rest in His love; and that He sings over us. Think about it
