Christmas
A bell is rung, a Carol sung
the time is drawing near
A Babe was born, before that morn
the cause of all our cheer

On that Noel, no one could tell
what joy He'd bring to men
He came to save, new life He gave
but who could know it then?

Older he grew - and soon He knew
He was the Father's Son
Wiser in things - this King of Kings
His journey then begun.

Ahead, the Cross - a seeming loss
(to us it was all gain)
He rose once more, and goes before
His Life was not in vain

We're full of cheer, the day is here
to celebrate His Birth
Our voices raise, we sing His Praise
this Lord of All the Earth!
